Now celebrating its 43rd year, the Shelby Township Art Fair is a beloved community tradition set within the beautiful natural landscape of River Bends Park, at 5700 22 Mile Road in Shelby Township, Michigan.

 

With over 100 talented artists and vendors participating each year, the fair offers a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for exhibitors and guests alike. The fair, which is co-hosted by Shelby Township and the Art Fair Committee and the Shelby Township Parks and Recreation Department and supported by generous sponsors, provides a great experience for over 15,000 visitors who come from near and far each year to enjoy the weekend’s festivities. This includes over 100 artist and marketplace vendors. There is also tasty food, musical entertainment, a kid’s zone activity area, and more.

 

The fair will return to the beautiful River Bends Park on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9. Entry and parking is free. This location provides a large area for exhibitors and entertainment, lots of parking in the lot at the park, and additional free parking nearby with convenient free shuttle buses. This lovely park with plenty of mature trees, flat grassy areas, and three pavilions has been a favorite place to hold special events for years.
